I had a great day at the Rostrevor Literary Festival. There was a great atmosphere at the event. It has to be one of the best settings for a literary festival in Ireland. I followed the wonderful Pulitzer Prize winning poet Paul Muldoon who was funny and poignant in equal measure. He is the best warm up man I have ever had !

There were poets, writers and singers in abundance. I didn’t sing.Ulster has suffered enough. Thanks to Billy and Jane for organising.

Next stop .. Dublin Book Festival on Sunday 12 November with the wonderful Miriam O’Callaghan.
