John Hume : The Full Picture

I am delighted to be appearing at this years Aspects Festival in Bangor on Thursday 3 October with Colin Davidson.

We will be talking about our different works surrounding John Hume, the Nobel Laureate and former SDLP Leader.

Colin will be chatting about his work as a portrait artist and in particular his iconic portrait of John Hume which is currently displayed in the Palace of Westminster.

Colin is an internationally renowned artist who has painted many notable figures including the Queen, President Clinton, Angela Merkel, Bono, Brad Pitt,Liam Neeson, Ian Paisley and Martin McGuinness.

He is Chancellor of Ulster University.

I will be talking about writing my book ‘ The Persuader’ which was published in 2023 and was an Irish bestseller.
