On the road again

Since the book was launched on October 10 in Derry I have done a series of “ In Conversation” events across Ireland in the company of some brilliant journalists.

We started in Bangor on 29 October at the Court House and then went to Rostrevor and Dublin. Then we travelled to the Craic Theatre in Coalisland, Derry and Downpatrick.

We then moved on to the Europa Hotel in Belfast and our final event of 2023 was in the wonderful surroundings of The Braid in Ballymena. ( My hometown ! ) It was a great night.

The tour has been loads of fun. I met hundreds of people and got asked loads of great questions.

I am delighted that in 2024 I have got four dates arranged for January and February.

I am in Armagh on Saturday 20 January at the Market Place Theatre and the following week on Saturday 27 January I am at the Seamus Heaney Home Place in Bellaghy. They are afternoon events.

Sam McBride is with me in Armagh and in Bellaghy the questions are being posed by Freya McClements. Tickets are on sale now - and are selling very fast. So do book ASAP.

On Friday 2 February I am at the Steinbeck Festival in Limavady and on Friday 9 February I am at the Old Court House in Antrim. Mark Carruthers is asking the questions on these two nights.
